Rare Earth Hardwoods offers a large selection of inlays manufactured to the highest standards using Old World marquetry techniques. While other inlays are laser cut and usually require putty to complete the install, Earth Line Design inlays are saw cut to such close tolerances that rarely is it necessary to fill the join lines between species. Our craftsmen take great pride in the product they create so that you can take great pride in the quality and beauty of your floor.
Not only do we offer the 45 styles listed below but we will manufacture custom inlays also. Submit one of your own designs or change species and size in one of ours to match your requirement.
Earth Line Design inlays consist of two components, the running strips, which come in 4' lengths, and the turning blocks. They can be used in combination, used separately or combined with other products such as feature strips to create that perfect look.
Inlays are sliced to a 5/16 inch thickness, bonded to birch plywood to meet the thickness you require, and grooved on all four sides for easy installation in any tongue and groove floor. We mill to the NOFMA profile or can match the profile of your flooring.
